design mail - a "boho-chic" office space

I received a design mail dilemma from my dear blog friend Estelle.  You know Estelle.  The super-funny, talented author behind one of my favorite blogs, Under a Pink Moon.  Well it seems that Estelle's office was on its last leg and things weren't looking too hopeful friends. And here's the rub.  Estelle shares the office with her husband so it can't be girly-girl. AND they're hopefully selling their house in the upcoming year so all the new cool stuff has to be able to come with......
But...all is not lost.  There is potential in this sweet little space.  And I believe it can be revived to be the inspiring office it was meant to be.
Incorporating existing pieces and Estelle's request for an earthy, bohemian vibe with a bit of color, I curated an office design that embodies "boho-chic" with an infusion of energizing hues.  Turning this office into a destination NOT to be avoided.  Check it:

Fantastic suggestions. I love how you incorporated some new pieces that both she and her husband will love. I'm always amazed at what little touches designers think of -- they make such an incredible difference.

Love your game plan and that roman shade. I get so overwhelmed with all the shade options out there. But this one is good–just bookmarked it:)

Wow, Michelle! I am blown away and so completely inspired! Amazing that you picked those baskets because we have several that Tom brought home from South Africa last summer so those will fit perfectly. And I am desperate for that chair. I can't believe you think I should replace our current chair. It's so pretty! Ha! And that lamp is beautiful and I really like your idea of adding two more pieces to the wall. O.k. I'm going to get moving on this right away. I hope I can make you proud. Thanks so much, talented lady.

I love all of your choices, especially the chair...and the blanket (of course). I just bookmarked the roman shade to show Ro', it's perfect for our entryway. I can't wait to see the changes Estelle makes.

Girlz got skillz...to pay the bills...and make millz (lol).

Both mood board and plan are fantastic. I love how you've included both with numbers so we can see where it all goes. Just found your blog through House of Brinson, where it turns, out we said almost exactly the same thing! I read your post after posting my own. Happy to have found you!
