cheat sheet

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about investing in not only a better, more professional grade camera but taking an amateur photography class so I can actually make good use out of said expensive camera.  It would be great to take amazing photos of my project installs, day to day musings, and inspiration for this here blog.  I'm not saying I'll ever even come close to a professional, I admire the true experts out there and my expertise lies elsewhere, but you know what I mean.  For the time being I can use this pretty cheat sheet to take a stab at taking better pics....

we bought a fancy camera awhile back and my husband has had the patience to learn how to use it. on top of that he has a great eye for photos. i don't know if i have the patience to teach myself, but i think taking a class would be a better way for me to learn. hands on. however, i would love to find a point and shoot that takes amazing photos. my last nikon was a lemon and took very pixelated images. such a bummer! i love photography. these days i just use my iphone.

I have been thinking the same thing. I desire for my new accessory to be a "fancy" camera hanging from my neck on a vintage camera strap that I picked up a few months ago at an estate sale.

...I have too many {expensive} things on my wish list.

i want to take a photography class too. i have a entry level fancy camera that i know can take great pictures, but i don't know how to manipulate the settings to get them. hope you're off to a great week!
