modern shed!
I want one. That's all I can say about the adorable but Modern Sheds seen at Dwell on Design L.A. These prefab customizable sheds are perfect for a multitude of spaces.
Here is the one I saw at Dwell on Design that I fell in love with - Model 5:
You can pick your level: 1, 2, or 3 and the most fun is picking your materials. You can have 3-form walls, maple walls, cedar ceilings, cork floors, various paint colors, windows and doors. They come in all sorts of sizes too. I could live in one full time I think. Their philosophy at modern shed is about "living smaller and within our means - utilizing space to the best of our ability is a start in the right direction towards eliminating the clutter of the day".
And for those of us who cant't give up our larger homes, modern sheds are great for:
I would totally use a modern shed for a latte hut! And it would be great to use for my designer studio. One day. *sigh*.

Great philosophy! Great idea and the fact that it's customizable works for me! I'd live in one :)
These are precisely why I wanted to do to Dwell on Design in the first place! To see these in person. I want one so badly as a little studio too!:)

Totally my dream art studio/meditation retreat! Ah, someday.
