september means national yoga month...

September is a busy month, what with back to school shopping, Labor Day and my favorite national yoga month!  Sponsored by the non-profit yoga health foundation, national yoga month is one of their many projects to promote the countless physical and mental benefits of yoga.  I mentioned before that practicing yoga has become a transformative priority in my life and I absolutely love it.
To celebrate national yoga month, hundreds of yoga studios around the country are offering one free week of yoga for those who want to give it a try.  Click here for more info.
P.S. Next week I will be sharing modern, stylish home yoga studios over at Alluminare where I hang out on Mondays.

Do you practice yoga?  What do you love most about it?

Must spread the news to my yoga-loving friends!! I've tried it... ONCE! hmmm... maybe I should get back to it this month?!? It's good for you, right? And I do recall it feeling good ;)

I miss yoga. I practiced in college, but haven't in years. I really should pick it up again!

I heard about it this morning when I showed up for my yoga class after my 3 hour sleep and I was not all that excited then.... but I am now! I love yoga, I can't believe I went through all these years without it.

I do my own form of yoga. I have not actually been to a class, but practice poses when I first wake up. I love how refreshed I feel after...ready to take on the world. :)

National yoga month, how cool is that! Do they offer all types of yoga? I go to hatha and kundalini classes twice a week.

I tried yoga this morning. I don't have the patience for it. Isn't that terrible?

I do P90x which incorporates yoga and i love that it seems to strengthen my core, plus it's challenging because those poses are no easy task:-)
